4. Server log files
The host automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the purpose of the technically error-free presentation and the security of our website.
5. Contact (form, e-mail, phone)
If you contact us via the contact form, by e-mail or by phone, your details are stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. Via the contact form we collect: name, company (optional), e-mail address, phone number (optional), industry and your message.
This data is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and – where your request is aimed at the conclusion or performance of a contract – on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Otherwise, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The transmitted data is received by us as an e-mail. We do not pass this data on without your consent. The data remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies; mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
6. Fonts
To display fonts consistently, this website uses the "Jost" typeface, which is provided and served locally from our own server (or our host's server). No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google) is established and no personal data is transferred to third parties.
7. Cookies and web analytics (datakant)
On this website we use the analytics service datakant. The provider is neomatch digital GmbH. With datakant we analyse how our website is used in order to improve our content and detect technical errors.
Nature and scope of the processing
datakant records how visitors interact with our website. In particular, the following information is processed:
- pages visited, time spent and the sequence of page views (sessions and events),
- interactions such as clicks, scrolling behaviour and the triggering of conversions,
- technical details about your device and software (browser, operating system, device type, screen and viewport size, user agent),
- the approximate origin of the visit and the referral source (e.g. which website or campaign brought you to us),
- a shortened (anonymised) IP address,
- a pseudonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser (cookie and local storage, lifetime up to 12 months) that makes it possible to recognise repeat visits from the same browser without identifying you by name.
This data is processed exclusively in pseudonymous form. We do not combine it with your name or other identifying data. No data is sold to third parties and no cross-device advertising profiles are created.
Storage location and processing on our behalf
The analytics data is processed and stored on servers within the European Union. neomatch digital GmbH acts as a processor on our behalf within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR; a corresponding data processing agreement has been concluded.
Legal basis
The processing as well as the storage of and access to the above information on your device take place exclusively where you have consented to this via our consent tool (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting your selection in the consent banner.
Storage period
The analytics data collected is stored for 14 months and then deleted or anonymised. The pseudonymous visitor identifier in your browser has a lifetime of up to 12 months.
Your rights
You are generally entitled to the rights provided for under the GDPR, in particular access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and objection (Art. 21).
We process the analytics data solely under a pseudonymous visitor identifier and do not combine it with your name or other identifying data. Pursuant to Art. 11 GDPR we are therefore not in a position to identify you on the basis of the stored data alone and are not obliged to collect additional data for this purpose. To exercise a right in relation to this analytics data, please provide us with your pseudonymous visitor identifier; without this information we cannot match a request to the data stored by us (Art. 11(2) GDPR). Please contact us using the contact details provided in this privacy policy.
Irrespective of this, you can stop future collection at any time by withdrawing your consent in the consent banner.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar.

You have the right at any time to:
- information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future
To exercise your rights, an informal message to the controller named above is sufficient.
10. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
